Live Aid Stage Musical to Premiering Next Year
consequence.net: The landmark 1985 charity concert, Live Aid, has been turned into a stage musical. Titled Just for One Day, the show will feature songs by Queen, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, and more, and is set to premiere next year at the Old Vic in London.

I think that this could be a really interesting Musical depending on how they decide to do it. I think it could be wicked interesting if they lean into a more ensemble cast sort of way to do it.I also think that it could be incredibly interesting if they include the kind of passing of the torch from the band Queen to U2 and specifically Bono. I think that they should not focus to specifically on one person as because it was a concert there were a lot of different players all at different stages in their lives so to have a lot of different stories intersecting for the Live Aid performance would be incredibly interesting. Making it almost like Chorus Line. I think it could also be interesting if they discuss, even if briefly, how the funds raised by Live Aid were a good intention but ultimately ended up mostly going to fund corrupt governments instead of the actual good cause they were raised for.
