4 Post SAG-AFTRA Strike Action Items For Actors
www.forbes.com: The SAG-AFTRA strike hasn’t been resolved, but that could change after SAG-AFTRA meets with studios. In the meantime, actors should do what they do best and act out what life will be like post-strike.
All theatrics aside, actors of various levels should ready a refreshed strategy and awareness of how to navigate opportunities, negotiations and industry realities as the production world reopens.

This article was really interesting to read. There is not much discussion about what will happen after the strike to actors. There are plenty of discussions on what movies will be released or tv shows will begin filming again but there is not much about what will happen to the actors. It was also interesting to hear about who will benefit from the new deal. The article spoke on how middle class actors will not have many changes. That makes sense as the majority of the focus is on the “starving artists” which is good but also kinda sad because SAG should focus on all of its members that need support, not just the actors that need the most. With the large demand for actors right after the strike ends I bet that actors, at least for a bit, will see higher pay checks from studios trying to keep them.
