I originally clicked on this article because Halloween is so close and I want to get in all the Halloween stuff I can before it passes. However, this article really did intrigue me, and I am not a huge Disney fan. The more I read about this seemingly spooky Halloween bar, the more I realized it really can function as a year-round space, which was my original concern when I first saw this. I clicked on the link to the cruise line and it looks like Disney is trying to go for more niche references for the adult spaces, which I really appreciate. It still has the insanely detailed references that Disney is known for but it also serves as a space that non-fanatics can enjoy. I really enjoy the personalized cocktails, as it further immerses you into the space. I have never seen Haunted Mansion but this still seems like I place that I would absolutely love to go to due to the, for lack of a better word, vibes.

I vividly remember the haunted mansion ride at Walt Disney world from visits as a child. While it was never my favorite ride it has a lot of happy memories exploring and seeing the wonders of the mansion. That being said I am extremely excited to hear about the Haunted Mansion Bar coming to Disney Cruises. While I am sad it will not be in the parks knowing it exists and hoping I will get to see it before it gets redesigned. I am intrigued to see how the combination of the themes in haunted mansion and nautical aspects blend. I am sure it is going to be an incredible room. I was also excited to hear about the specialty drinks being served. They are very unique and I would like to try them at some point in my life. I do appreciate that disney provides the recipe for curious souls to try them at home. However one of my favorite things is perhaps the hidden message written in the foam in the “signature beverage”. Overall I am excited to see a childhood favorite come to life in a new and intriguing way.

Disney always is very active with their holiday spirit, especially Halloween and Christmas. I love how they transform spaces that were neutral, for lack of better terms, to something that is very Halloween. Even on their cruse ships, the are constantly on par with their energy and the things they offer! I love that they offer Haunted Mansion-Inspired Merchandise, which is such a plus for people like me, who love to collect things as keepsake. I find it really intriguing how Disney always comes up with new merchandise that fits themes, but also make it so that it can be pretty and useful at the same time. The drinks are also a really nice addition, and they also give you the recipe, giving those who don’t have a chance to go on the cruise to also try it out at home, still celebrating the Disney halloween spirit.
