TAIT Continues 30-Year Relationship With U2 At Sphere

Live Design Online: Since 1978, TAIT has been turning crazy ideas into reality. It is not surprising then, that TAIT was involved in one of the biggest live entertainment projects of the past several years, the U2 residency at Sphere Las Vegas.

While I am a little tired of reading about the sphere, I do find TAIT to be a very interesting company. It seems to me that all of the engineers at TAIT are the ones who get to solve all of the interesting problems that come along when working on things in the theater. Oftentimes if a complicated automation element has to happen, a theater might call in an organization like TAIT rather than doing the effect themselves. This has a lot of advantages such as moving the liability away from the theater and bringing in experts to be able to more effectively solve complicated engineering problems.
I think that my combination of engineering and theater studies could allow me to work at a company like this. I have a fairly good understanding of how a theatrical process works, but also am going to learn a lot of the math and technical design behind how these complex engineered mechanisms work.
