You've Got Mail Order—How the TDF Costume Collection Ships Rentals Across the Country
TDF: As emerging costume designers, Ariel Kregal and Gabe Bagdazian had been running into each other for years. So she wasn’t that surprised when she walked into the TDF Costume Collection in spring 2024 to rent some items and spotted Bagdazian, who had recently been hired as an In-House Designer.

Maria Callas costumes on rare US display at Washington exhibition
Monaco Life: The costumes, which belong to Milan’s Teatro alla Scala, represent Callas in four roles: Ifigenia in Ifigenia in Tauride, Amina in La Sonnambula, Anna in Anna Bolena, and Fiorilla in Il Turco in Italia. Their journey to the United States was made possible through a joint effort between the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington and the Embassy of Greece.

MY FIRST EVENT OF THE YEAR 2026
Time Traveling in Costume: My group of ladies in the Historical Dressers had our first fashion show of the year at a new location: the New Frontier Senior Community. I was excited about doing yet another senior community and one of our models, Jeanette, lives there. She pretty much was a major part in making this a perfect event and having our fashion show as the entertainment for an afternoon tea for the residents there.

Wicked Witch's Hat From 1939's 'Oz' Hits Auction Block
www.hollywoodreporter.com: the iconic hat worn by Margaret Hamilton in 1939’s The Wizard of Oz is going up for auction on Dec. 9. Offered by Heritage Auctions — which last year sold a pair of ruby slippers from the film for $28 million — that hat comes up for sale just as Wicked: For Good, which brings to an end a revisionist telling of the witch’s backstory (played by Cynthia Erivo in the Wicked films), hits theaters ahead of Thanksgiving.

Iris Van Herpen Has Created Ballet Costumes Evoking Calm and Chaos

If you’re Iris Van Herpen, you think 3D printing, laser cutting and vaporous honeycomb structures.
All of the latter will be on display Wednesday night at the New York City Ballet‘s fall fashion gala, where choreographer Jamar Roberts’ latest work will premiere, with music by Arca and costumes by the Dutch couturier, synonymous with cutting-edge technologies and fabrics, scientific collaborations and otherworldly silhouettes. Five performances are planned.

Wallpaper*: Stepping inside Cosprop’s headquarters, discreetly located in a former garage on Holloway Road, north London, is like walking into a colossal dressing-up closet. There are boxes on top of boxes, from floor to ceiling, filled with fabric samples, ribbons, lace trimmings, buttons and beads. In a room with alcove shelving laden with shoes, bags, parasols, canes, and umbrellas, regal hats sit nonchalantly on top of various display heads.

National Theatre to use home-grown dye in sustainability push
