ETC Rigging Reno at the Carrier Dome

et cetera...: When Syracuse University decided to renovate the legendary Carrier Dome, one of the key components was a rigging system that would support their scoreboard. They wanted a scoreboard that would provide a “wow factor” for their fans and players. With four sides that are each 62.5 feet wide and 20 feet tall, and a six-foot ribbon board running around the bottom on the interior, the new scoreboard is not just impressive, it is the second-largest indoor center-hung system in the United States and the third-largest in North America.

Augment3d helps drive-in opera happen at high speed

et cetera...: San Diego Opera used creativity and all the tools at their disposal to stage a full run of the opera classic La Bohème recently. Presented as a drive-in experience in the parking lot of a local sports arena, the opera came together under tight constraints. Luckily for the lighting team, ETC’s suite of lighting tools on the Eos 3.0 platform, including the Augment3d visualizing software, was there to give a high-tech assist to this classic opera.

ETC postpones in-person trade show attendance until July 2021 and offers live online demos

LightSoundJournal.com: Out of concern for the safety of its employees and global community, ETC has announced that it will not participate in traditional trade show exhibitions until July of 2021. With the pandemic affecting many people’s ability and desire to travel, the company has instead decided to focus its resources on remote demos and online events.

iRFR and aRFR Apps from ETC Benefit Behind the Scenes

Stage Directions: Continuing their unmatched generosity to entertainment technology professionals, ETC presented Behind the Scenes with a check today for $18,567.19, representing the most recent proceeds from the company’s iRFR and aRFR Radio Focus Remote applications. Since the launch of the iRFR in 2009, ETC’s mobile app sales have now generated over $350,000 in donations.
