‘World’s deepest rave’ makes mountain part of signal chain

AV Magazine: British DJ Roni Size has performed a set 419m below ground that explored how to make the mine itself part of the performance. Ahead of the G-Shock Sessions set inside Cwmorthin slate mine in north Wales, sound engineers measured the mine’s impulse response using convolution reverb to explore its acoustic characteristics.
