Who Is the Emmys Goblin? This "Drag Race" Star Has Claimed the Look

www.businessinsider.com: We're calling it now — the best look on the 2024 Emmys red carpet was literal goblin glam. And behind the viridescent body paint was "RuPaul's Drag Race" season 15 alum Princess Poppy.

I love RuPaul’s Drag Race and I love Princess Poppy! I saw this outfit live and I almost screamed. I love how fun the whole outfit is. She looks amazing and hilarious. Not to mention the prosthetics and makeup itself are honestly really impressive too. I have always wished that red carpets were more fun and this was definitely fun. I think now more than ever people are starting to branch out on the runway. We are seeing men in more than just plain black suits (at least sometimes) and some women are really expanding what is “acceptable” to wear. As someone who loves fashion, that makes me really happy. There have been some absolutely amazing and iconic outfits on the runway the past few years. There have also been some not so iconic and amazing outfits in the past few years but at least they were trying something new.

This eats. I have been a long time drag race fan, now mind you I do not watch avidly and there are definitely certain parts of the show that piss me off a lot. In fact I would say it's not the best reality TV show and it's solidly all right. However, it is incredibly important that drag is represented and watched throughout the world. It is a beautiful art form that can Encompass all different genders, people, abilities, and there are so many things you can say with drag. it can be anything from something casual to something fun to something absolutely earth-shattering. Princess Poppy is kind of cuckoo bonkers, but that's what we all love about her. I think it is so iconic that she showed up to an award show dressed as a goblin. That is genuinely so cool and creative, and I don't think my social anxiety could ever do that. This outfit was stunning and it brought the right kind of attention to the show and Princess Poppy.

This was one of the most different articles that I have read and it was quite interesting to say the least. I am a fan of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, although I have not watched as much of it as I would like to so I don’t know any of the queens from the new season discussed in this article; however, I still have thoughts. All the power to Princess Poppy, I personally could never pull off a Goblin look anywhere let alone the Emmy’s but she did it. This article had a partial blocker on it so I wasn’t able to read the whole article so I don’t know if she did this for a reason or just because she wanted to. I could see a situation where it is a commentary on something and that is rather interesting but even if it isn’t still very interesting and again all the power too her, I could never.
