Behind the Scenes: ETC presented Behind the Scenes with a check for $13,000 at last year’s LDI Conference and Tradeshow representing the additional 2023 proceeds from sales of the company’s iRFR and aRFR (Radio Focus Remote) applications. Since the launch of the iRFR app in 2009, ETC’s mobile app sales have generated over half a million dollars in donations to the charity.

It is really good to see a major company like ETC providing a donation to an important charity like Behind the Scenes. I think that the work that Behind the Scenes is doing is very important to the industry because it provides support for a sector of the workforce that can be very isolating. People in this industry often work long hours with unknown people, making it hard to build connections with other people. I think that it is great that BTS is working to provide structures to support the mental health of this population.
I also think that it is great that ETC is choosing to donate its proceeds from a specific product line to BTS. This means that they are willing to sacrifice their profits from this entire product line, which needs continual support and development, to show how they really care for the work that BTS is doing.
