I have written about communication systems several times in these comments, but it is a topic that continues to fascinate me. Good communication is critical for so many industries, not only theater but also, sports, emergency response, logistics, and military. Many of these fields rely on traditional 2-way radios, but it seems that clear com is trying to break into some of these other markets, rather than just the events industry. Clearcom provides very powerful control over exactly who can talk to whom, and how information can be passed around an organization or event. Configuring these systems can be a lot of work and I think that it is important that it seems like clear-com is trying to emphasize its work on software to assist with the configuration of systems, and making different systems talk to each other. Clearcom has a lot of different offerings for different environments, but there does seem to be a lack of ability to tie those systems together. Work such as the addition of Dante to the system will help make the entire system more useful.
