In this article Georgian sound designer, producer, and composer George (Gvaji) Gvarjaladze tells how he changed from his Prism titan audio consoles to the New Prism Sound Dream ADA-128 modular conversion system. This console is top of the line with up to 128 channels of 32-bit A/D and D/A conversion with sample rates up to 76 8 kHz. It also has a 2RU mainframe that can be fitted with digital and analog IO modes, while providing both networkable and conversion audio processing and distribution. Gvarjadze said it is specifically good for those with a high track count as you can actually hear every instrument, while still getting the Prism sound quality. Personally, I do not know all that much about sound/mixing boards but I found the article fascinating. I will be interested to do a little more research on it.
