I love to see that the writers are getting the two main points of the strike, both royalties on streaming platforms and the agreement that the use of artificial intelligence should not be used in screen writing. One the unions come to a conclusion, which I imagine will happen in the matter of days, how long it will take for sag-aftra to come to an agreement as well. As said in the article, sag is fighting for such similar points as the wga was so I hope that this will quick bring the conclusion of both strikes so all of those artists that have not been able to work will be able to return to their craft. These strikes take so much out of people when they could not work, especially if work is their creative outlet, so I would be interested in seeing the number of writers and actors who were forced to leave the industry because they could not make any money for months.
