The Laramie Project is a show that I have always been curious about, especially after the school of music’s production of Considering Matthew Shephard last school year. If I were able to, this would definitely be something that I am interested in watching and attending. I really only know the bare minimum basics of the story so it would be a great opportunity for me to learn. I have also long been a fan of Brandon Uranowitz after he played Mendel in Falsettos. I was absolutely obsessed with Falsettos when I was a Freshman in High school. It was also such a huge impact on me because Brandon Uranowitz was a very Jewish man playing a very Jewish man which, annoyingly enough, seldom happens in both theatre and film contexts. So his inclusion would go a long way to convince me to watch this staged reading. I think it is also very respectable that they area donating the profits to the Trevor Project. I have always loved the way that the Broadway and theatre community in general comes together and supports one another
