As a big fan of concerts and immersive art, I think this is a really cool concept. I think that exhibitions can add so much to the concert experience, and that more artists should consider adding these kinds of immersive experiences to their concerts. This experience in particular is very interesting because it acts as a time capsule. With how fast technology changes, the things that were shiny and new in 2001 are now antiquated and almost forgotten. Unlike technology, music is almost eternal; people will listen to music that was written in he 1800s, 1960s, and the early 2000s. Music carries a lot of history and can be used to help people learn and understand the past. By creating an immersive music and media-based experience, Jay-Z and his team have created a cultural moment inspired by the cultural moment of his 2001 album The Blueprint.
