4 Tools At Lowe's With Deep Discounts In September 2026

www.slashgear.com: Building a home tool kit can be an expensive proposition, especially when power tools enter the mix. A basic kit should include the essentials such as a hammer, screwdrivers, a tape measure, pliers, and more. A cordless drill will simplify many projects, but if you're planning some serious DIY or home renovations, you'll want to add more power.

I’m always on the lookout for good deals on a new tool, and the first two seem like solid options that if I were in need of, I would certainly consider. I think it’s an interesting note to tag on at the end of the article that the pouches have been reported by some to break under load, perhaps this is a defect that has pushed the company to try to get it off the shelves, or maybe it's a small proportion of them that suffer from this. Either way, while I certainly love an opportunity to save money on new tools, it’s good to keep in mind why a specific tool might be on sale - just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it's worth buying.

To start out regarding this article I actually have one of these items already and I confirm that it is worth the buy especially if it is on sale. The item in question that I already own is the twenty five piece hex key set from Kobalt. Instead of having all twenty five items on one ring the total count is split between three sets and are organized into grouped sets within the entire set. I am also not sure when I bought this set but it has been quite a few years that I have owned it, and it still functions perfectly. Next the item that caught my attention the most that I am contemplating purchasing is the Kobalt Metric and standard (SAE) Mechanics Tool Set I really like how compact and small the overall case is for how many tools the set offers. I have a few socket sets that are in brief cases styles, and this multiple drawer but movable box is a great design.

Like this article mentioned, it is insanely expensive to build an at home toolkit. I don’t really have brand loyalty for tools, since I’m mostly just focused on getting what I need for a decent price. Sales like these are nice since it provides an opportunity to get some tools at a much better price. One of the tools on this list that especially popped out was the tool belt. I feel like articles with sales and articles recommending tools to buy don’t often recommend a tool belt. Most these articles are really just focused on the cordless drills and other small power tools. However, tool belts are especially useful in organizing tools and making it easier to hold things, especially when pockets are lacking. The other thing from this article that I thought was a really good tool to pickup was the combo metric and imperial hex key set. Hex keys are always disappearing, so it’s always good to have a couple on hand.
