Solid State Logic To Present New System T V4.3 Update At IBC 2026 In Amsterdam
ProSoundWeb: Solid State Logic (SSL) announced that it is expanding its Open Sound Control (OSC) integration as part of a V4.3 update to its System T platform at IBC 2026 at RAI Amsterdam (stand 8.B45).
Providing the ability for external systems to control System T console parameters via the open and extensible OSC protocol, the upgrade gives third-party equipment seamless access to the SSL ecosystem, supporting ad hoc workflows and offering enhanced flexibility and interoperability in modern production environments.

It's great to see more integration of more accessible connections like OSC be integrated into major sound consoles and softwares as shows become more technologically advanced and require simultaneous control. especially as some companies have created incredible ecosystems such as the Eos system and those are great systems however having integrated ones with systems such as OSC and MIDI become incredibly important for designers who may jump softwares often or want to make long term shows easier, making it possible to run entire shows using one software rather than a ight board op and a sound board op and a SM and a video/media op. This also can be conferencing for how prevalent jobs may be as these systems allow for more automation. However this could be balanced by the more technical skills that are needed to automate such systems and maybe pay will increase despite the less amount of man hours spent operatiing such things.
