Every single day there are new stories proclaiming ways AI will fundamentally alter the ways in which we live our lives and inhabit the earth. The industry is predicted to reach a $3.6 trillion valuation within the next seven years.

Almost all art develops as you work on it. The creative process is a process for a reason. The more you allow AI into your workflow the fewer chances you will have to stop and think critically about your process and if it is creating the best final product you can make. Moreover, a single prompt cannot portray the full intention behind a piece, adding AI into your art is like partnering with another artist who understands all the fundamentals but is fundamentally incapable of creativity. For me at least every time I look at something I'm making I see a couple little details that can be changed or made better. No matter how good of an eye for detail an artist has nothing can replace time spent looking at a piece. AI is not perfect and art is not perfect. The time you spend working on a project is about choosing which imperfections to solve and which work as they are. AI robs artists of this time to reflect on a piece while working on it by speeding up the workflow significantly.
