Good for them. I have heard the absolute most insane and upsetting stories coming from the VFX and larger CGi worlds. Especially with the break neck speeds that Disney demands of their employees in addition to the increasingly large workloads that they are bridled with. I am a very strong supporter of unions and unionizing. Even if at the moment, the workers feel good about the work that they have and the benefits that they have, it is still good to have a solid union in your corner just in case that ever changes. I am extremely glad to see the renewal in interest in unions in the modern age as I know how much money certain politicians funnel into propaganda that encourages people to leave or even dissolve their unions. So seeing all of these strong unions come out and actually make a change as well as the expansion of unions and the creation of new unions makes me extremely relieved.
