This article is something that I think all managers can take a look at and learn a lesson on how to lead from. It can be so hard to motivate a ground of people when a situation is bad and not getting a paycheck for months is not a great place to be in but for the leaders of the strike to be able to turn around and leave a message that was this inspiring to their team is admirable to say the least. I also know that as an artist to not be able to do your craft can be extremely hard which I am sure is laying heavily on the minds of those negotiating on behalf of their artistic peers but what rings true about these negotiations will lead to better conditions which is so important for all of those striking to keep at the forefront of their minds. I also appreciate that in the positive tone of this message the point was made that the large companies were not the enemies but rather their partners.
