If i'm being honest i've never heard of Lawo before, however this seems really cool. I'm not super sure how helpful this will be for traditional broadway style shows, as a lot of them will use front mains with surround fills. This makes the need for positional tracking kind of moot as your mostly not panning your vocals around. However, for interactive shows and concerts this could be really powerful. I don't want my viewpoint to come off as cynical, however I'm mostly focused on traditional broadway style shows as opposed to concerts and audio experiences. It would be cool to see this kind of technology on more main stream consoles brands like Yamaha and DiGiCo, and, as much as I think they are unreliable, Avid desks. I do think that for some use cases, this could be a game changer, but not for traditional theatre.
