A first look at the newly reopened Brooklyn Paramount historic theater

www.timeout.com: It’s been a long time coming, but the Brooklyn Paramount is finally open again following millions of dollars and years of renovations led by Live Nation. Before restoration began a couple of years ago, the iconic venue—which first opened in the 1920s as a movie theater before it became a concert hall for acts like Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington—was a basketball arena and classrooms for Long Island University.

This place is genuinely so gorgeous! Please, please let me go there right now. I'm a huge fan of Gothic architecture, and while this isn't necessarily Gothic architecture, it is gorgeous. it holds a similar vibe in the ornate details, and that is why I love it so much. this place looks ginormous, and it makes sense that millions of dollars went into it. I saw the first picture in this article and my jaw genuinely dropped to the floor. it was breathtaking, and I just can't imagine seeing this in person. As I kept scrolling things kept getting better and better, and I saw even more photos that I loved. If I ever got to create in this theater space, or just go there to watch a show, I think I would be so happy. I genuinely fight tooth and nail to be able to see this in person.
