Job Simulator Devs Say They Feel 'Vindicated' By Apple Vision Pro's Approach To VR

I don’t know much about video game development, let alone VR video game development, so I thought that this was a very interesting article to read and learn a bit about the development process and major challenges VR game studios face. With what new and constantly developing technology VR headsets are, it makes a lot of sense for every headset company to have a completely different sensor and technology system, and as a result, challenges arise from having to fit a game to a particular headset. I think it’s really interesting and honestly kind of cool how it seems like there are aspects of Apple’s VR headset that are essentially made for developers and the app development process. There’s a lot of talk in this article about the development of hand-tracking, and how having a hand-tracking development plan is a vital part of VR game development for the future, so it seems promising that Apple’s headset appears to have ways for developers to be able to relatively easily test and develop things.
