You Should Install Magnetic Flooring for Your Next Home Renovation
lifehacker.com: Magnetic flooring is gaining popularity as a flooring option because of its simple installation and low volatile organic compounds (VOC) output. And its glue-less attachment system makes it simple enough for a beginner to tackle.

I had no idea that this existed. I’ve seen several different types of flooring, but as somebody that has only installed flooring once – for a production that purchased real flooring – I do not know a TON about it… I also had not considered he magnetic properties and how this may affect the home. I love that this is a low mess option as well. I also like that all you have to do is lay down this underlayment and then begin laying the floor as normal – it makes me think of how this type of application could be useful for production elements. Imagine going into a load in and half of your elements are magnets… could be cool. Could be problematic. I’d love to find out. I also like how this flooring eliminates the tongue and groove ,and click method, it obviously works well but can lend itself to challenges sometimes.
Honestly this is a very interesting idea and I wonder if this would come in hand with load in for different shows. it seems like it would be very helpful for a show that does for some reason need to have real flooring rather than just a painted piece of Masonite as floor for whatever reason that may be. it would certainly be quicker to do this magnetic flooring then actual flooring that would involve a lot more steps and a lot more Precision because it seems like with this you would just need Need to lay out your magnetic underlayment and then just place the tiles on the floor which seems like it would very much cut down on any loading time if you do for some reason need actual flooring rather than painted mace night but it also is interesting to think of how well that would actually stay.
