Attending this program was one of the best choices that I’ve made for myself and my career. Through earning my BFA at Otterbein I feel as though I had genuinely been prepared in several areas for a career in Technical Direction. The regional model that is practiced in the program gave me several years of carpentry experience as well as technical direction experience on multiple shows per academic year. I also enjoyed a variety of seminars taught by guest artists and lecturers throughout my four years, and would highly recommend this program to many as it teaches a well-rounded education in a variety of disciplines. The faculty and staff are also some of the kindest and most generous individuals that I have had the fortune of working with – all of those that I had, TJ included, helped create a welcoming and safe environment to learn, grow, fail and succeed in. Go cards!
