How to Use AutoCAD LT and AutoLISP: Your Questions Answered

I have to admit, I think I got a lot more excited about this than I should’ve. I even opened AutoCAD in the middle of the article just to play around with LISP. I never knew that you could input data into AutoCAD with LISP, so it’s cool that AutoCAD LT users have access to that now. I can’t imagine how much more powerful LISP makes AutoCAD; you can input math into your command line directly instead of doing it on a separate calculator (and we all know how nice it is to have one integrated system do all the work), but then I’m sure there are some people on the internet writing enormous scripts in LISP to do unthinkable things. I wish I had known about setq and ssget when I first learned how to use AutoCAD; there have been so many times when I’ve had to select the same few objects over and over again manually. I hope I have a chance to use LISP in AutoCAD in the future.
