This article was fascinating. Learning about all of these cool spaces right here in Pittsburgh was really cool. Maker spaces are collaborative workspaces where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. These spaces typically provide access to a variety of tools and equipment, such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and woodworking tools, that individuals may not have access to on their own. Not only do these spaces encourage creativity, innovation on your own but also experimentation by providing a supportive community of like-minded individuals. People of all ages and backgrounds can come together to learn from each other, share ideas, and collaborate on projects which makes these spaces unique to other shops. This article was broken down into what places would be the best for certain needs which was helpful especially since some were more geared towards children. Maker spaces of all kinds have become increasingly popular in recent years as people seek out opportunities to connect with others and pursue their interests outside of traditional education and work environments. I love a maker space.
