I’m personally very excited for this production as I will be seeing it in the next couple days with some of my friends. After it opened, I have seen a lot of pictures on the costume and how it blends perfectly with the set. These pictures really made me think about what I can use in my designs in it truly brings me a lot of inspiring ideas and thoughts. The vivid and bright color of the costume create contrast with a darker and grey shade of set. It emphases the period of time they the story is settled in and helped emphasize parts of the story. This article with reviews does give me an overview of what I should be expecting with this production, even though many of the reviews are saying its not worth it, I’m still pretty exited to see this show and how it has been brought on stage.

The reason I clicked on this article is because I am so excited to see New York New York. The cast alone is so impressive and I hope to be able to see Anna Uzele again in a production. I got the chance to see Anna Uzele in Once On This Island and she was incredible. The main reason why I am so excited for this show is because of the costume designer. Donna Zakowska is the costume designer for New York New York. She is also the costume designer for the tv show Marvelous Mrs. Maisal. That show is the reason I want to be a designer and inspires me everyday. I love her work so much and can't wait to see this show. Also the other designers I am excited to see their work in this production. Kai Harada is the sound designer for Bands Visit and their work was incredible in that production.
