This may be an unpopular opinion but I hate Phantom of the Opera. I have ever since I was little and I listened as my Dad ranted against Andrew Lloyd Weber. I admit that my opinion is an inherited one but that does not mean that it is an incorrect one. My Dad always said that he was an emotional button pusher and I can not say that he is incorrect. So hearing that Phantom of the Opera would be closing its doors on Broadway was not cause for sadness in my house. However, I will say that the only reason that I am slightly upset about this is that I know that a bunch of hardworking people who had previously had steady income and been secure in their positions and knowing where their next paycheck was going to come from now have to find new jobs fairly quickly which is always terrifying.
