Disney Parks Imagineers Debut Nightmarish Robot at SXSW
gizmodo.com: During The Art & Science of Disney Parks Storytelling at SXSW today, parks chairman Josh D’Amaro along with Disney Imagineers introduced a prototype robot being developed by the company, a small rabbit with rollerblades that looks like Judy Hopps from Zootopia if she were real and also a Terminator.

This video was more troubling than it was exciting, to be honest. I am a lover of all things Disney parks, and absolutely adored the work done on the Spider Man robot in Avengers Campus that I was able to see a couple of times in person. I will say that this video did remind me of the inevitable defeat of the human race once robots take over the world. Like they now know how to fall when they get pushed down. We are surely doomed. Next thing you know you combine this with AI that will one day be able to have emotions or original thoughts and give this thing a weapon and humanity is destroyed! A true sci-fi movie comes to life. That being said, I love Zootopia and want to go to Hong Kong one day so maybe I’ll meet robot Judy one day.
