Dolls house is a show that has been done a lot. By the ways, they changed how you watch the show. Stripping away most of the technical elements brings more attention to the rawness of that show. The show when it premiered, as said in the article, shocked audiences because it brought forth a new era theater to a new generation. That’s why I think it’s so smart that they put Jessica Chastain in this role because she is one of the best actresses of our generation. Also, having those technical elements stripped is a way to shock audiences now in this generation. Apart from this article, I saw that how they open the show is with her spinning on a round table on the chair, and I find that to be a really interesting way to start the show. Especially since that’s the most tech you’re probably going to get the whole show.
