I keep reading the article over and over again– is the offer any different from that of an influencer? I truly believe the job offer depicts the merging of 21st-century social media culture with that of theatre aficionados. “Student Blogger” is apparently not even a paid position within the Broadway World (BWW). So, what makes one apply? And, most importantly, how does one apply? I say this since the only listed requirements are those of being a “good writer” and, from the looks of it, loving musicals. It is interesting to consider Broadway World (BWW) advertising team is, once again, calling upon individuals (in this case college students) to reflect on “the current global health crisis”. I find it interesting since at least in school now, I want to believe everyone is moving past the COVID-19 pandemic. Not necessarily trying t to forget it, but rather set it behind to move forward.
