Pittsburgh powers through a frigid First Night

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Cold weather, Courtney Czarniak said, is actually the best weather for face-painting.

“It’s all water-based, it’s basically watercolor, so when everyone’s sweating in the summer, we hate it,” said Ms. Czarniak, head of Pittsburgh Princess who was responsible for face-painting at Sunday night’s Highmark First Night Pittsburgh at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. “This is an ideal setup.”
