This article is a great example of how we can utilize the ever-changing and improving world of technology to create real change around topics such as sexual harassment. By bringing relevant feminist leaders in the entertainment industry such as Diana Oh and Shakina Nayfack to discuss the de-construction of systems in the industry that allow assault to exist, they are actively taking a role to stop these occurrences from persisting. This is something that is so crucial when discussing aspects of social justice in this generation-- nowadays, it is so easy to get behind a movement by simply sharing something on Facebook or reposting it on Instagram. Social media is incredible in that it allows the spread of information across the world at the click of a button, but it also allows people to speak loudly without the necessity of actually going out and contributing to the change they preach of. By holding live-stream conversations such as this one, people are able to actively contribute to change rather than just speaking about it.
