www.broadwayworld.com: The world is changing and let me tell you, not all of it is bad. In fact, there are some seismic shifts that have been taking place in the world of Broadway, that have been nothing but positive. As ticket revenues rise there are many explanations, from groundbreaking shows, to stories and music that speak to a younger and more diverse audience and podcasts. Podcast? Yes, those little shows that people can listen to on their phones, in their cars, offices, homes, on the subway or while working out. So why is this such a big deal for Broadway? If you have to ask, then this is the interview for you. If you don't have to ask, then this is the interview for you.

Podcast have been something that I have listened to for a while. Theatre people podcast is one of my favorite podcast to listen to. I love hearing the stories of successful artist and the things they are working on and the struggles they have had in their life. I think Patrick asks some very intelligent questions on his podcast. I listened to his one about hand to god and with Mark kudish and while he had opinions on the matter he was able to stay calm and kept the conversation going. Along with theatre people I listen to the producer perspective and a couple other ones. For me personally, I enjoy theatre podcasts and that’s about it. I tried to listen to serial and other popular podcast but there is too much attention needed for those. I like listening to podcast when I am driving or going to school or work. I am thinking about other things at the same time as listening to these podcast. Podcasts are truly great!

The moment that struck me most in this interview that really struck me was how Hinds describes his reaction to the F word in Hand to God. I think it is really wonderful that Hinds was willing to have a conversation about why he was offended, rather than get furious and jump to anger. Often times people are too consumed with emotion to talk calmly about why they were offended. I also appreciate how HInds gave the show another shot. Despite being offended, Hinds went to see the show again to see if his view changed. This shows how open minded Hinds is and how he is willing to give shows a second chance. I’m surprised that he believes that he handled the situation poorly since this sounds like a mature way to handle the situation. I wonder what he would do if a similar situation if it occurred today. Based on this interview, I would definitely check out his podcast.
