I love seeing new theaters built and this is so exciting seeing that it was funded through the government is awesome! I really like theaters that allow for the environment to be a part of the story telling. Being locked in a concrete box gets kinda old. But I also love the capability of this space from concerts to theatrical performances. I think the Hudson Valley community is definitely enriched by this new theater and space of storytelling. I also love the architecture choice of keeping the roof line natural; the space just looks like another hill in the valley. Also utilizing the proscenium arch to create a perfect picture of the valley below. I wonder what space issues are going to present themselves working under a curved roof and open to the elements. What design opportunities are available? This space is very unique and I am excited to see what art comes out of it.
