This Horror-Themed Airbnb Will Transport You to Your Favorite Scary Movie
gizmodo.com: Halloween is almost upon us, which means that you and everybody you know should be on the lookout for fun ways to celebrate our most dark and sinister holiday. Personally, my favorite way to enjoy October is by watching scary movies at a breakneck speed. For those seeking to kick things up a notch, a horror-themed Airbnb in the California mountains may just do the trick.

This cabin looks really cool! The idea of a themed Airbnb is so attractive to me, as I love feeling the vibes when I am on vacation. I love to feel comfortable and also excited in my place of habitat and this looks like a comforting get away! While I do not have an eye for interior design, I love being surrounded by a well put together space. It really just looks like something out of Stranger Things and the attention to detail is amazing. I like that it is run by a family calling themselves the “Unique Stay Club”. While it looks like they do not have any other properties as of now, I really think that they are onto something here! Other “themed” rooms I have seen tend to look tacky, with just a few posters or knick knacks stuck up, but the “Horror Themed Cabin! Retro Scary Movie-Inspired” really feels refreshing and different. And finally, the thing that stuck out to me the most was a quote from one of the owners, showing that it really is all about quality over quantity, “We don’t have a view, we don’t have a Jacuzzi or a pool or any of those luxury amenities — but we do have a switch that turns on special effects that scare you.”
