We Tested The New Avolites Titan Remote
www.limelightwired.com: The Avolites Titan Remote App is here to free you from the booth, giving you the power to control your entire show while roaming the venue like a boss. Whether you’re tweaking position palettes from the balcony, adjusting intensity backstage, or just flexing on the other programmers that don't have an app for their console, this app turns your phone or tablet into the ultimate mobile lighting weapon. If you’re still chained to the console, trust us—your workflow is about to get a serious upgrade.

I’m a big fan of mobile/tablet apps that let you remotely communicate with lighting boards. I’ve never had the chance of working with Avolites products before but this seems like a great interface for the app itself. I’ve been using oscRFR for Eos recently in Purnell and really been enjoying the flexibility of being able to do work notes without being tied to the board and/or with an operator. Just being able to move around the space while working is so useful. The interface for this app (at least from the photos) seems pretty intuitive and flexible which is a plus with these mobile and tablet based interfaces. I also think the fact that you can have multiple programmers on the app at once is great. Bumping into users either on the board is really annoying and the ability to work simultaneously is great. I hope one day I get to experiment with this app.
