This is a very interesting instructable video and picture article. Most people in this field know that using a heat gun, you can bend plastic and pipe. But, kinks can be a problem. By heating it from the inside, it will help to remove the kinks on the pipe. My immediate thought was that they were just gonna make a contraption to use the heat gun and funnel the heat into and through the inside of the pipe. I quickly found out this was not the case. By adding the sand that had been heated up, it retains the heat on the interior of the pipe, making a uniform temperature more ideal for pipe bending. This is a very useful tip for the community because this problem occurs often for a lot of theatres. The pipe was also shown in a lot of applications, these applications are endless and the article helped us get some good ideas.
