Production Lighting Design | Billie Eilish When We All Fall Asleep

I think that its very interesting how the company that is doing Billie Ellish’s tours wants to keep the original designers with the productions once they get big. I feel like they would normally give the smaller tours designers who are not as experienced and then give big tours to more experienced designers but I think that it makes sense to have one designer all the way through the process so the first designer’s original intent can be carried out during the entire tour. I think that its very interesting how quickly Billie Eilish has blown up and became one of the most prominent pop stars today. I like the idea of the flying bed as it goes well with the lyrics that she wrote for her songs. I wonder how they were able to create such large sets that can be assembled and taken down very quickly for the tour.
