'Hamilton the Exhibition’ is closing early in Chicago

Chicago Tribune: In the first significant disappointment for the hugely successful team behind “Hamilton,” one of the most successful Broadway musicals of all time, the spinoff known as “Hamilton the Exhibition” is to close down in Chicago on Aug. 25. And the original plan to move the exhibition around the country following the end of the Chicago stand has now been abandoned.

I think that it's crazy that something relating to hamilton didn’t work out the way that the producers wanted it to since this has not happened yet. I think that this exhibition was a risky move since it was pretty much uncharted territory for a Broadway show and I’m interested to see what will wind up happening to the exhibit once it closes in chicago. I am a little bit surprised that they made something that they knew would take up to 80 trucks to move around but I guess they just wanted to make the best thing possible and it seems that they accomplished this. I wonder if the exhibition will actually go on tour or settle down somewhere like New York or LA. I feel like it would do well in NY since that's where the whole show started. I’m not sure where in the city they would put it though.
