“Rock of Ages” at Pittsburgh CLO
The Pittsburgh Tatler: I’m likely the least suited person in the world to write about this show. Mainly because I’ve never been a fan of rock music, and particularly of hard rock music. So although I’m the right age to have this “jukebox musical” take me on a nostalgia trip back to the eighties, I don’t really have the kind of associations with the music or culture that would evoke in me that sentimental glow

Rock of Ages is a popular musical, and now being Produced by the Pittsburgh CLO. I have a good connection to some of the staff at the PCLO. This article is very informative about the show, and I appreciate that. I am very excited to see the show later today, as I have heard good things about it, and the CLO always produces quality work. The more rock and roll style music will be an interesting twist that I am looking forward to. The article also brought up some interesting points about the different style show. I hope that the audience is as engaging as the article made it out to be. Overall, I am excited to see the show.
