Trump Announces Sweeping Kennedy Center Renovation Plan
Engineering News-Record: President Donald Trump announced in a Truth Social post on Feb. 1 that the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will undergo a sweeping renovation that would require a multiyear closure.
In a post that reads more like a declaration than a proposal, Trump said that following the nation’s 250th birthday celebration, the venue would close for as long as two years.

This article reallyMakes me mad, As I'm sure that any renovations will be done willMake him the center of the art and I can no doubt that he will slap his name across anything and everything he can, And will only allow art art to happen there as something for political gain for him or a boost in his ego and that art will truly disappear from the center, And it will not be about the art and it will not be about telling the stories. I believe that turning the Kennedy Center into, Let's be honest A trophy for Trump defeats the purpose of art and free speech and I truly believe that the point and the passion behind the art is inspiring change and inspiring the world and the people we want to be, Donald Trump does not care about the people, He does not care about doing good or the right thing, He just wants money in power and taking away the Kennedy center from usIs a way of silencing us.
