In my opinion I think that no one hand tool has a singular purpose. It may be true that a tool was designed for a specific purpose, but that dose not mean that it can be used in other ways. Theater in fact is an art form that has perfectly embodied this fact and way of thinking. Theater as a art has mastered repurposing technology for other uses, and why cant this be done for hand tools as well. The article of this article is misleading every one of these tool can be used for multiple jobs, and I for one have never saw any one of these tools as a car only tool. Thinking this way will just lead to a narrowminded view of tools.
