Best Oscillating Multi-Tool Reviews 2026
Pro Tool Reviews: We used to be able to narrow down the best oscillating multi-tool to just a couple of brands. Not anymore. Advancements in battery, motor, and vibration control technologies offer more legitimately excellent options than ever. The oscillating multi-tools we use today feature advanced vibration control and accessory interfaces, plus they benefit from carbide tooth blades and innovative problem-solving accessories.

Oscillating tools are commonly used in many different machine shops and home DIY toolkits so it's good to know which one will yield the best results. I was somewhat surprised to see the ridged oscillating tool coming in first overall ahead of many of the more well known tool brands. The ridged oscillator was also one of the cheaper options of the group making it quite a good deal. They were truly 1st across the board only losing in the yellow pine, cpvc, and vibration categories. I was also intrigued by the inclusion of some of the special features on each of the different tools that did not assist in their overall score throughout the testing process. The Milwaukee oscillating tool has several useful features that personally would probably push it above the ridged version with less attributes. Overall it was interesting to see which tools were the best at cutting through different materials.
