This is cool to see, Sound is one of those industries that's incredibly difficult to break into. There just aren't that many programs out there that properly support this type of study. Especially live sound. There's really only two or three schools that really teach system design. That being Carnegie Mellon and CCM, and both are still really under appreciated at their respective schools. I really hope to start seeing more programs like this be sponsored by the companies that manufacture the equipment. After all they are the ones who make the serious money in this industry. I also would like to see more programs partner with schools. Like ETC actually sends equipment to schools to use in order to better education for students. It's a great marketing tool. More people familiar with your brand = more likely they will go with that when designing their system simply out of familiarity. Anyway excited to see where this goes in the future.
