Well, this is interesting. I hadn’t heard of Evolution Dome before, and the work they do does seem interesting. The idea of being able to easily travel with an inflatable booth or tent does seem appealing, because it will pack into a small space and should be fairly light to transport compared to rigid structures. While this does seem like a potentially promising idea, I do have some major questions.
What is being used for pressurizing these structures? Based on my experiences with bounce houses etc, my assumption would be that all of these structures would need continuous blowers in order to stay inflated. If that is the case, how much power do those blowers need and how much noise do they make? It would not be great if you have to scream over a loud blower as you are trying to pitch your product in a retail tent. I also wonder if the power considerations would keep this from being able to be used in remote environments, or it could be run on a (loud) generator.
