The feeling of your heart dropping to your stomach when you find out that an event that you have been looking forward to is canceled, especially due to something as unpredictable and inevitable as the weather, is devastating. I went to a Lumineers concert and it got delayed due to the weather and I about cried. This article however brings to light the true cause of these weather-related tragedies: climate change. Not a lot of people think about the true root of the issue and the long-term effects of what is happening with the world, especially not when they're on their way to see their favorite band or artist perform. Something I always think about is the back end of what a cancellation might look like for the managerial and producing team. I am sure that so much money and time is lost when something like this happens, and the team needs to be equipped with the right procedure and problem-solving skills to propel the tour forward.
