I honestly don’t quite understand what this article is talking about, because I haven’t worked with AutoCAD yet, but I know that we’ll be learning next semester. Reading this article makes me realize that a lot of what we had done in hand drafting is really critical to what we’d be working with next semester, and that building a base in hand drafting before moving on to CAD is really important. I took lessons for CAD a couple years ago, and I really struggled with it, and even after an entire summer learning, I still didn’t know how to use it. While I’ve heard that AutoCAD is easier, I still think I’d be struggling, so I’d probably be googling a lot of things, as well as asking classmates for help. Now that I also know of this website, I think I’d come back to this often looking for tips and ways I can improve!
