'Rebel Moon' CCXP Booth Features Lifesize Models & an Immersive Experience
collider.com: As this year’s edition of the Brazilian Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) gears up to start this Thursday in São Paulo, journalists, influencers, and some selected fans had access to Spoiler Night – a compact preview event in which you have the chance to get a look at the con pavilion before the hordes of fans start flooding the event in the official four days.

The pictures shown in the article of Netflix's "Rebel Moon" immersive exhibit at CCXP are super cool and the level of detail here is astounding. It looks like every possible detail was considered, and I always appreciate it when the set design looks completely realistic and essentially indistinguishable from the real world. I have never been to a comic con and I am not totally sure if it would be my thing, but I would definitely be interested in going to one some day, especially if it had exhibits with this amount of detail. I would love one day to work on making a set like this, where the goal is to make it completely realistic. In theater construction we tend to take many shortcuts and make it so scenery looks good only from one direction, but making it so it is realistic from all directions seems like a whole different battle which would be very cool to work on.
