I hate that this kind of thing does not surprise me anymore. These white men really have the audacity to think that they can continue to be abusive and not deal with the consequences. I hate that sometimes they're right. I've noticed though that a lot of these men are producers. They're the ones with the money, and it's hard to see that and not acknowledge capitalism as being somewhat responsible. I wonder if there is any way we can do checks on these people to see if there is abuse in the workplace. Possibly an anonymous letter type of deal? I just seriously find it disgusting that people are not putting in place any successful ways to not just bring accountability to the abuser, but stop the abuse before it happens. I see this happen everywhere. It's astounding that people will claim to be anti-racist because they agree Derek Chauvin should be held accountable, but still don't think we should abolish the police system as it is.
